Tato práce se věnuje působení retinoidů na nádorové kmenové buňky a možnému využití získaných poznatků při odstraňování těchto vysoce rezistentních buněk v rámci protinádorové léčby. This thesis focuses on retinoids, their effect on cancer stem cells and possible use of this knowledge for eradication of those highly resistant cells during anticancer treatment. First part of this thesis provides general background about the cancer stem cells and retinoids.
