Land-use Changes in the Krkonoše National Park during 2nd Half of 20th Century

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je zhodnocení vývoje využití území Krkonošského národního parku od roku 1953 do současnosti, a s tím související analýza změn struktury krajiny. V teoretické části práce jsou popsány metody použité pro zpracování leteckých snímků, map s vymezenými kategoriemi i změnových map sledovaného období. Dále je v této části práce definována zájmová oblast a historický vývoj jejího využívání, prostřednictvím literární rešerše jsou pak formulovány nezbytné odborné pojmy. Praktická část práce analyzuje změny v území pomocí leteckých snímků, ale především prostřednictvím map s jednotlivými kategoriemi využití území vypracovaných v programu ArcGIS 10.5. Tato analýza porovnává údaje zjištěné z grafických podkladů, s historickými písemnými a statistickými daty o vývoji využívání oblasti. Na základě provedené komparace jsou na závěr uvedeny možnosti dalšího vývoje území.

Abstract:

The subject of the diploma thesis is an evaluation of land use changes in the Krkonoše National Park from 1953 to the present, and related analysis of changes in landscape structure. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the methods used for processing of aerial photographs, maps with defined categories and change maps of the monitored period. Further, in this part of the thesis is defined the interest area and the historical development of its use, and the necessary scientific terms are formulated through literary research. Practical part of the thesis analyzes the changes in the area using aerial photographs, but mainly through maps with individual categories of use of areas developed in software ArcGIS 10.5. This analysis compares the graphical data with historical written and statistical data on the development of use of the area. Based on the comparison, the possibilities of further development of the territory are presented.
