Time Management for University Students

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na time management vysokoškolských studentů. Obsahuje sedm kapitol a je tvořená teoretickou a praktickou částí. V první kapitole je přiblížen pojem time management, časový stres, vývoj vnímání a prožívá času a jsou rozepsány různá pojetí vnímání času. Druhá kapitola objasňuje důvody obav lidí aplikovat metody time managementu ve své praxi, popisuje čtyři generace řízení času a různé postupy organizace času. Třetí kapitola je věnována zlodějům času, které by se měl každý snažit identifikovat a eliminovat. Čtvrtá kapitola popisuje prokrastinaci, akademickou prokrastinaci, důvody odkládání činností a boj s prokrastinací. Pátá kapitola se zabývá otázkou stanovování cílů a plánování. Poslední kapitola popisuje vysokoškolské studenty, jejich studijní i volný čas a metody time managementu aplikovány přímo na ně. Praktická část formou dotazníku srovnává vysokoškolské studenty Pedagogické fakulty Západočeské univerzity v Plzni a Lékařské fakulty Univerzity Karlovy v Plzni a jejich dovednost řídit svůj čas. Výzkum je rozdělen na tři oblasti: školní, mimoškolní a plánování.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis directs at time management of university students. It comprises seven chapters and is made up of theoretical and practical parts. In the first chapter is approached the concept of time management, stress of little time, perception of time and various concept of time perception. The second chapter explains the reasons why people want not apply methods in their practice and describes four generation of time management and various methods organization of the time. The third chapter is devoted to the "thieves of time" that everyone should to identify and eliminate. The fourth chapter describes procrastination, academic procrastination, reasons procrastinate and the fight against procrastination. The fifth chapter deals with the question of setting goals and planning. The last chapter describes the university students, their life and methods time management, which are applied to them. The practical part means of a questionnaire compares college students Faculty of Education University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and the Medical Faculty of Charles University in Pilsen and their skill to manage your time. It is divided into three areas: school, extracurricular and planning.
