Burnout syndrome in kindergarten teachers

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám syndromem vyhoření u populace učitelek mateřských škol a faktory, které míru vyhoření ovlivňují. Zkoumám, ve které z rovin syndromu vyhoření (kognitivní, tělesná, citová, sociální) je míra tohoto vyhoření u učitelek mateřských škol nejvyšší a zda je ovlivňována věkem, délkou pedagogické praxe, sebevzděláváním učitelek nebo lokací mateřské školy. Výzkum prokázal určitou míru vyhoření učitelek mateřských škol a také, že sebevzdělávání funguje jako preventivní faktor vzniku syndromu vyhoření. Naopak vliv lokace mateřské školy na vyhoření se neprokázal.

Abstract:

In my Diploma thesis I deal with the burnout syndrome for the population of kindergarten teachers and factors influencing the rate of the burnout syndrome. I investigate at which level of burnout syndrome (cognitive, physical, emotional, social) the rate of this burnout syndrome is the highest, and whether it is influenced by age, the length of pedagogical practice, the self-education of teachers or the location of the kindergarten. The research proved a certain rate of the burnout syndrome of kindergarten teachers and also that self-education functions as a preventive factor for the burnout syndrome. On the contrary, the influence of the location of the kindergarten on the burnout syndrome was not proved.
