Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá činností a názory M. T. Lorise-Melikova, významného ruského vojenského velitele, administrátora a politika 2. poloviny 19. století. Důraz je kladen zejména na vrchol jeho kariéry v posledních letech vlády Alexandra II., kdy Loris-Melikov usiloval o nalezení cesty z táhlé krize ruského impéria. The presented bachelor's thesis deals with activities and views of M. T. Loris-Melikov, great russian military commander, administrator and politician of the second half of the 19th century. The thesis is mostly focused on the top of Loris-Melikov's career in the last years of the reign of Alexander II.
