Obstrukční sleep apnoe syndrom ( OSAS), řazený mezi poruchy spánku, je u dětí léčen chirurgicky. Doporučenou metodou léčby při hypertrofii patrových tonzil s příznaky OSAS je oboustranná tonzilektomie. Cílem práce je dokázat, že srovnatelnou a postačující metodou léčby obstrukčního sleep apnoe syndromu u dětí s hypertrofií patrových tonzil je oboustranná tonzilotomie. Abstract:
Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS), listed as a sleep disorder, is treated surgically in childhood. Tonsillectomy is the recommended method of treatment for hypertrophy of the palatine tonsils with symptoms of OSAS.
