Tato práce vytváří ucelený obraz o osobnosti Julia Watkinse a jeho umělecké činnosti, obsahuje také analýzy jeho stěžejních hudebních prací a jejich celkové zařazení do kontextu jazzové literatury té doby.
Abstract:
This thesis makes up a comprehensive picture of Julius Watkins and his artistic endeavor. It also includes analyses of his crucial musical works and their overall inclusion in the context of jazz music literature of that time.
