Hlavní složkou této práce je mapování tématu „Sedm posledních slov Krista na kříži“ v historické hudební linii. Práce zdůrazňuje propojenost duchovní roviny s hudbou, proto je v textu téma rozebíráno i po stránce teologické. Popisnou formou zmiňuje stěžejní zhudebnění tohoto tématu. The main topic of this thesis is the theme of the Seven Last Words from the Cross in music throughout history. The thesis highlights the connection between the spiritual and the musical. Because of this, the topic is also analysed from the theological point of view. It describes the most important musical adaptations of this theme.
