Lego Mindstorms Robotic Kit in Project Teaching at Elementary Schools

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá tvorbou podpůrných materiálů pro výuku konstrukce pro automatizaci a robotizaci za použití technického myšlení a vnímání reálných strojních systémů (na žákovské úrovni). Tato práce využívá platformy Lego MINDSTORMS pro výuku konstruktivního myšlení, a následně také algoritmického řešení problémů z reálného světa. Současně s přípravou materiálů pro klasickou výuku obsahuje tato práce i materiály pro dálkovou výuku za pomoci bezplatných softwarů. Konečným stádiem práce je otestování materiálů přímo ve výuce na základní škole. Celý koncept rozvíjí konstruktivismus s důrazem na systémové myšlení, které je velmi významné právě ve věkové kategorii žáků druhého stupně základní školy. Vytvořené modely myšlení jsou základem pro tvořivost na úrovni střední školy a významně formují osobnost technicky uvažujícího mladého člověka, což jsou základy českého průmyslu pro budoucnost.

Abstract:

This work deals with the creation of supporting materials for teaching construction for automation and robotics using technical thinking and perception of real machine systems (at the student level). This work uses the Lego MINDSTORMS platform for teaching constructive thinking and subsequently also algorithmic problem solving from the real world. Simultaneously with the preparation of materials for classical teaching, this work also contains materials for online learning with the help of free software. The final stage of the work is the testing of materials directly in teaching at primary school. The whole concept develops constructivism with an emphasis on systemic thinking, which is very important in the age category of secondary school students. The created models of thinking are the basis for creativity at the secondary school level and the importance forms the personality of a technically thinking young person which are the foundations of Czech industry in the future.
