Identification of specific special education teacher profession acting in the prison

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou specifik profese speciálního pedagoga působícího v oblasti vězeňství. Cílem je přinést vhled do problematiky výkonu profese speciálního pedagoga v oblasti vězeňství, identifikovat specifika jeho profese a specifické požadavky kladené na osobnost jedince vykonávajícího tuto profesi. V teoretické části práce jsou sumarizovány informace vázané k problematice vězeňství v České republice, profesi speciálního pedagoga obecně i v souvislosti s vězeňstvím a činnostmi, které tento pracovník realizuje. Empirická část využívá technik hloubkového rozhovoru a dotazníkového šetření. Informace získané z rozhovorů byly textově analyzovány a dotazníkové šetření bylo vyhodnoceno standardními statistickými metodami (deskriptivní statistika). Sesbíraná data vypovídají o specifikách profese speciálního pedagoga a specifických požadavků kladených na osobnost jedince vykonávajícího profesi.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis deals with the specifics of the profession of a special educator working in the area of prison service. The aim of thesis is to bring insight into the performance of the profession of special educator in the area of prison, to identify the specifics of his profession and specific requirements placed on the personality of an individual performing this profession. The theoretical part of thesis summarizes information related to the prison system in the Czech Republic, the profession of special educator in general and in connection with the prison system and the activities that this worker carries out. The empirical part uses techniques of in-depth interview and questionnaire survey. The information obtained from the interviews was analyzed by text and the questionnaire survey was evaluated using by standard statistical methods (descriptive statistics). The collected data reflect the specifics of the profession of a special educator and the specific requirements placed on the personality of the individual performing the profession.
