Diplomová práce je zaměřena na porovnání financování muzeí v České republice a ve Francii. Nejdříve vymezuje základní pojmy: kultura, muzeum a benchmarking. Poté popisuje kulturní politiku obou zemí. Dále se zaobírá řízením muzeí, přičemž se zmiňuje i o aktuálních problémech muzejnictví v porovnávaných oblastech. This thesis compares the financial support of museums in Czech Republic and in France. Firstly, it defines the main terms: culture, museum and benchmarking. Secondly, it describes the cultural politics of both countries. Then the thesis explains the conduct of museums, having considerations for the actual problems of museums.
