Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zahraničním partnerstvím měst a jeho vlivem na cestovní ruch. Vysvětluje základní princip, na jakém partnerství fungují a jsou tvořena, systém navazování partnerství mezi městy, historii a vývoj od prvních partnerských měst až po současnost. Stěžejní část práce má za cíl zhodnotit vliv zahraničního partnerství měst na různé formy cestovního ruchu obecně a poté konkrétně na příkladu vybraných dvojic partnerských měst. Zvolené příklady zahraničního partnerství jsou charakterizovány, je popsán vliv partnerství na cestovní ruch v daných městech a jsou představeny fungující projekty v rámci partnerství. Na závěr jsou předneseny návrhy na možné zlepšení fungování uvedených partnerství.

Abstract:

The Bachelor’s Thesis deals with international town-twinning and its impact on tourism. In the Thesis the basic principle on which the twinning works is explained, how the twinning is made, procedures leading to town-twinning, history and development from first sister cities till present. Fundamental part of the Thesis evaluates the impact of town-twinning on various types of tourism generally and then also individually on tourism in chosen sister cities. These examples of town-twinning will be analysed, the impact on tourism will be described and several successful projects will be presented. In the end of Thesis some proposals are mentioned, concerning better function of twinning in chosen sister cities.
