Coxův model proporcionálních rizik (Cox, 1972) je nejpoužívanějším regresním modelem v analýze dat, u kterých dochází k cenzorování. The Cox regression model (Cox, 1972) is the most popular method in regression analysis for censored survival data. However, due to the very high dimensional space of the molecular biology data, i.e. the genes with expression levels measured by microarray expreiments, the standard maximum Cox partial likelihood method cannot be aplied directly to obtain the parameter estimates.
