Cílem této bakalářská práce je analýza příčin, průběhu a důsledků severovietnamské ofenzívy Tet. Útok byl veden proti Jižními Vietnamu s cílem zvrátit patovou situaci ve válce. Z vojenského hlediska se jednalo o katastrofické selhání Severního Vietnamu a ocitla se na pokraji porážky. Spojené státy ale byly natolik ochromeni protivníkovo ofenzívy, že se rozhodly nadále nepokračovat ve vietnamském konfliktu …more
Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the causes, course and consequences of the North Vietnamese Tet offensive. The attack was conducted against South Vietnam in order to reverse the stalemate in the war.
