Práca sa zaoberá popisom základných charakteristík financovania podniku. Vysvetľuje základné spôsoby financovania podniku, prostredníctvom dlhopisov, emisií akcií alebo rizikového a rozvojového kapitálu. V druhej kapitole teoretickej časti je popísaná optimalizácia kapitálovej štruktúry podniku.
