Crisis as an opportunity for growth through business expansion in the practice of the enterprise

Abstract:

Tato práce je věnována rozboru teoretických aspektů vzniku a vývoje ekonomického mechanismu krizového stavu průmyslu, podniku a také nástrojů pro předcházení a řízení podniku v krizových situacích. Studie shrnuje teoretické přístupy k vymezení podstaty pojmu "krize", navrhuje autorovo vymezení této ekonomické definice, analyzuje hlavní příčiny a znaky krize a zkoumá teoretické a metodologické přístupy k protikrizovému řízení podniků. V analytické části studie byla provedena analýza dopadu krize způsobené pandemií covid-19 na globální ekonomiku jako celek, na průmysl ryb a mořských plodů a také na konkrétní ukrajinský podnik – Universal Fish Company, s.r.o. Jsou zvažovány možné varianty rozvoje podniků a východiska z krize v závislosti na aktuální úrovni krize a změnách, ke kterým dochází ve vnitřním i vnějším prostředí.

Abstract:

This study is devoted to the analysis of the theoretical aspects of the emergence and development of the economic mechanism of the crisis state of the industry, the enterprise, as well as tools for prevention and management of the enterprise in crises. The study summarizes the theoretical approaches to the definition of the essence of the term "crisis", proposes the author's definition of this economic definition, analyzes the main causes and features of the crisis, and examines the theoretical and methodological approaches to anti-crisis management of enterprises. In the analytical part of the study, an analysis of the impact of the crisis caused by the covid-19 pandemic on the global economy as a whole, on the fish and seafood industry, as well as on a specific Ukrainian enterprise - Universal Fish Company, Ltd. Possible options for the development of enterprises and ways out of the crisis are considered, depending on the current level of the crisis and changes occurring in the internal and external environment.
