Abstract:

Předkládaná disertační práce se zabyvá přípravou reaktivních sorbentů na bázi nanostrukturních oxidů kovů a jejich testováním pro reaktivní adsorpci vybraných nebezpečných chemických látek ze skupiny organofosforečných pesticidů, simulantů bojových chemických látek a cytostatik. První část práce se zabývá použitím bojových chemických látek a jejich simulantů, organofosforečných pesticidů a cytostatik v historickém kontextu. Tato část je rovněž věnována fyzikálně-chemickým vlastnostem uvedených látek, strukturním podobnostem a jejich vlivu na životní prostředí. Ve druhé části se práce detailně zabývá problematice odstranění nebezpečných látek pomocí procesů odmořování a dekontaminace. Tato část je věnována problematice mechanismu reaktivní adsorpce pomocí reaktivních sorbentů na bázi nanokrystalických oxidů kovů. Nedílnou součástí je souhrn instrumentálních analytických metod používaných pro studium reaktivní adsorpce. V části experimentální byly pomocí metod homogenní hydrolýzy, metod srážecích a metod založených na hydrolýze peroxo-komplexů titanu za zvýšené teploty, připraveny reaktivní sorbenty na bázi nanostrukturního oxidu manganičitého a jeho kompozitu s grafen oxidem, oxidu titaničitého, hydroxidu (resp. oxidu) hořečnatého a jeho kompozitu s oxidem titaničitým. Všechny materiály byly charakterizovány pomocí metod analýzy pevných látek (XRD, HRSEM, HRTEM, BJH a BET). Degradační aktivita připravených sorbentů byla zjišťována pomocí sledování kinetiky a mechanismu rozkladu vybraných modelových látek ze skupiny organofosforečných pesticidů (chlorpyrifos, parathion-methyl), simulantů bojových chemických látek (2-CEES, DMMP, TEP), antracyklinových cytostatik (doxorubicin, epirubicin, apod.) a dusíkatých yperitů (cyklofosfamid, ifosfamid). Kinetika rozkladných reakcí byla studována pomocí instrumentálních analytických metod a technik (HPLC-DAD, LCMS, GC-MS, in-situ DRIFTS). Byly diskutovány vztahy mezi materiálovými vlastnostmi a degradační aktivitou jednotlivých sorbentů. Bylo zjištěno, že vliv materiálových vlastností na degradační aktivitu byl pro jednotlivé sorbenty specifický. Zásadní význam pro degradační aktivitu připravených sorbentů má velikost částic materiálu, jeho specifický měrný povrch, případně acidobazické vlastnosti. Vhodnou kombinací nanostrukturních oxidů kovů s uhlíkatými materiály na bázi grafen oxidu je možné výrazně zvýšit jejich měrnou aktivitu.

Abstract:

This dissertation thesis deals with the preparation of reactive sorbents based on nanostructured metal oxides and their using for the reactive adsorption of selected hazardous chemicals from the group of organophosphorus pesticides, chemical warfare agent simulants, and cytostatics. The first part of thesis deals with the use of chemical warfare agents and their simulants, organophosphorus pesticides, and cytostatics in a historical context. This part provides a general background on physicochemical properties of these substances, their structural similarities and their impact on the environment. The second part of thesis deals in detail with the issue of removal of dangerous substances by means of decontamination processes. This part is devoted to the problem of reactive adsorption mechanism using reactive sorbents based on nanocrystalline metal oxides. An integral part of this chapter is a summary of instrumental analytical methods used for the study of reactive adsorption. In the experimental part, homogeneous hydrolysis methods, precipitation methods, and methods based on the hydrolysis of titanium peroxide complexes at elevated temperature, were used for the preparation of reactive sorbents based on nanostructured manganese dioxide and its composite with graphene oxide, titanium dioxide, magnesium hydroxide (or oxide) and its titanium dioxide composite. All materials were characterized by XRD, HRSEM, HRTEM, BJH and BET methods. The degradation activity of the prepared sorbents was investigated by monitoring the kinetics and mechanism of degradation of selected model substances from the group of organophosphorus pesticides (chlorpyrifos, parathion-methyl), chemical warfare agent simulants (2-CEES, DMMP, TEP), anthracycline cytostatics (doxorubicin, epirubicin) and nitrogen mustards (cyclophosphamide, ifosfamide). The kinetics of degradation reactions were studied using instrumental analytical methods and techniques (HPLC-DAD, LC-MS, GC-MS, in-situ DRIFTS). The relations between the material properties and the degradation efficiency of the individual sorbents were discussed. It was found that the effect of the material properties on the degradation activity was specific for the individual sorbents. The magnitude of degradation activity of the prepared sorbents has the particle size of the material, its specific surface area or, optionally, acid-base properties. A preferred combination of nanostructured metal oxides with graphene oxide can significantly increase their specific activity.
