The uthority of the teacher at secondary schools of civil engineering.

Abstract:

Anotace Má diplomová práce se zabývá problémy autority učitele na střední škole. Autorita učitelů celkově patří k jednomu z problémů současného školství, tak, jak se zhoršuje kázeň žáků a studentů. Proto jsem se v teoretické části rozhodl popsat a definovat jak samotnou autoritu, osobu učitele a specifika věkové skupiny studentů středních odborných škol, ale také srovnat výchovné styly a rozebrat důvody, které vedou k problémům s autoritou. V praktické části jsem se pak rozhodl prozkoumat situaci přímo ve školách. Vybral jsem si dvě zcela odlišné střední školy – jednu stavební a jednu pedagogickou – a srovnal názory studentů obou škol na autoritu učitelů obecně i na jejich škole. Vytvořil jsem k tomu dva dotazníky, jeden pro studenty a jeden pro učitele, které jsem vyhodnotil a graficky zpracoval Myslím, že má práce bude přínosem jednak pro další studenty a jednak odkrývá zajímavá zjištění současného středního odborného školství.

Abstract:

Annotation My thesis deals with the problems of teacher's authority in high schools. The teacher´s authority is one of the problems of contemporary education, as student´s discipline is impairing. Therefore I decided in the theoretical part describe and define authority, personality of teacher and specifics of groups of students in vocational high schools and also to compare educational styles and analyze the reasons which lead to problems with authority. In the practical part, I decided to study the situation in the really schools. I chose two completely different vocational high schools - one civil and one teaching school - and I compared the opinions of students from both schools with the authority of teachers in general and in their school. I created two questionnaires, one for students and one for teachers, which I evaluated and graphically processed. I think my work will be helping for other students and also it has some interesting findings of the vocational high school education.
