Tato diplomová práce se věnuje zkoumání vlivu narození mentálně postiženého dítěte na jeho rodinu. Konceptem diplomové práce je zaznamenání změn postojů u rodičů postiženého dítěte. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy - mentální postižení a mentální retardace, podrobně je vysvětlen pojem dětská mozková obrna z důvodu vybraných rodin starající se o děti postiženy tímto onemocněním. This diploma thesis deals with the influence of the birth of a mentally handicapped child on his family. The concept is recording changes in attitudes in the parents of the affected child. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts - mental handicap and mental retardation, in detail is explained the term cerebral palsy.
