Education of a child from a problematic family

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problémovými situacemi, které se mohou v rodině objevit, a taky možnostmi, jak se tyto situace odráží na dětech a jejich výsledcích ve škole, v rodinném prostředí a v životě, popř. jaká je možná náprava. Teoretická část přibližuje pedagogiku jako takovou, rozebírá způsob výchovy dítěte, definice a dělení rodiny, její funkce, dopady a jednotlivé potřeby samotného dítěte. Praktická část interpretuje výsledky průzkumu, jehož prostřednictvím jsem se snažila zjistit, zda se školní hodnocení žáků z rozvedených (neúplných) rodin liší od výsledků dětí z nerozvedených (úplných) rodin.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with problem situations that may occur in the family and also with the possibilities of how these situations reflect on children and their results at school, in the family, and in their ordinary lives. It also looks into accessible ways of redress and possible solutions. The theoretical part portrays pedagogy as a whole, analyses various definitions, discusses different ways of raising children, states typologies of a family, and deals with diverse functions of a family and its impacts on children´s needs. The practical part interprets results of a survey, which helped me discover, whether the school achievements of students from divorced (incomplete) families differ from the outcomes of children from not-divorced (complete) families.
