Bakalářská práce je věnována onemocnění diabetická retinopatie a její dopad v běžném životě pacienta. Teoretická část se zabývá charakteristikou diabetické retinopatie, diagnostikou, léčbou, prevencí onemocnění a také kvalitou života při ztrátě zraku. The bachelor thesis deals with diabetic retinopathy and its impact on the life of the patient. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of diabetic retinopathy, diagnosis, treatment, prevention of illness as well as quality of life in case of loss of vision.
