Determination of Production Length Cycle of Casting Molds Before Maintenance

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o stanovení délky výrobního cyklu licích forem před údržbou během odlévání a to díky měření napálení povrchu formy. Toto měření probíhalo za plného provozu a odlitky, které se ve zkoumaných formách odlily, jsou plně funkční. V teoretické části diplomové práce jsou popsány odlévací procesy epoxidové pryskyřice ve společnosti ABB s. r. o., možné povrchové vady těchto odlitků a jakým způsobem lze tyto vady kontrolovat. Praktická část je zaměřena na měření povrchové kvality formy a následné vyhodnocení výsledků. Toto měření a výsledky pomohou k nastavení cyklického měření napalování separátoru na povrch formy, zároveň i k údržbě forem během odlévání, jejich odstavení a vložení do čistícího procesu. Tímto způsobem se zamezí výrobě neshodných odlitků a prodlouží se životnost formy. Všechny naměřené výsledky společně se snímky jsou rozděleny přehledně do jednotlivých tabulek podle druhu formy.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the maintenance of moulds during casting by measuring the burn of the mould surface. This measurement was carried out under full operation and the castings that were cast in the moulds under investigation are fully functional. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the epoxy resin casting processes at ABB s.r.o., possible surface defects of these castings and the methods used for inspection of defects. The practical part focuses on the measurement of the surface quality of the mould and the subsequent evaluation of the results. This measurement and the results will help to set up the cyclic measurement of the firing of the separator on the mould surface, as well as the maintenance of the moulds during casting, their shutdown and insertion into the cleaning process. This will prevent the production of non-conforming castings and extend the life of the mould. All the measured results together with the images are clearly divided into separate tables according to the type of mould.
