Physiotherapy of ankylosing spondylitis in terms of the reconvalescent stay

Abstract:

Tato práce pojednává o problematice ankylozující spondylitidy, známé jako Bechtěrevova choroba, a možnostech fyzioterapeutické léčby prováděné v rámci rekonvalescenčního pobytu. Cílem práce bylo zpracovat kazuistiky dvou pacientů s morbus Bechtěrev z hlediska účinků rekonvalescenčního pobytu v lázních. Teoretická část práce je zaměřená na kineziologii axiálního systému, na popis tohoto onemocnění, klinický obraz, diagnostiku, prognózu a léčbu ankylozující spondylitidy včetně fyzioterapie. Ve speciální části jsou popsány kazuistiky dvou pacientů, které jsem doprovázela na týdenním rekonvalescenčním pobytu v Turčianských Teplicích. V diskuzi jsou probrány klady a zápory vedení skupinového cvičení pacientů s morbus Bechtěrev, které oba pacienti absolvovali v rámci tohoto pobytu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is concerning the problematics of ankylosing spondylitis, known also as The Morbus Bechterev, and the posibilities of physiotherapy practised within a reconvalescent stay. The goal of the thesis was to process casuistries of two patients suffering from the Morbus Bechterev from the aspect effectivness of the spa recovery stay. The theoretical part is focused on the kineziology of the axial system, on the description of the disease, the clinical picture, the diagnostics, the prognosis and the therapy of the ankylosis spondylitis including the physiotherapy. The practical part is describing casuistries of two patients, who I accompanied during a week´s recovery stay in Turčianské Teplice. The discussion is concerning the positives and the negatives of the goup excercise in patients suffering from The Morbus Bechterev, through which both of the patients went during this stay.
