Selected macroeconomic indicators in the healthcare sector in the Czech and Slovak Republics.

Abstract:

Práce je věnována charakteristice zdravotnických systémů v České a Slovenské republice. V první části je popsán teoretický rámec zdravotnictví a rozdělení zdravotnických systémů dle zdroje financování. Druhá část popisuje zdravotnický systém v České a Slovenské republice a reformy, které proběhly v rámci slovenského zdravotnického systému. Třetí část se zabývá základními informacemi o vybraných zemích a analyzuje makroekonomické ukazatele ve zdravotnictví v jednotlivých zemích nezávisle na sobě. V poslední části je provedena komparativní analýza mezi lety 2010-2021 ve vybraných zemích. Cílem práce je porovnat zdravotnický systém v České a Slovenské republice a identifikovat hlavní rozdíly a podobnosti mezi oběma zeměmi a na základě analýzy zhodnotit změny spojené s reformou zdravotnického systému na Slovensku.

Abstract:

The thesis is devoted to the characteristics of health care systems in the Czech and Slovak Republics. The first part describes the theoretical framework of health care and the division of health care systems according to the source of financing. The second part describes the health care system in the Czech and Slovak Republics and the reforms that have taken place within the Slovak health care system. The third part deals with basic information about the selected countries and analyses macroeconomic indicators in the health sector in each country independently. In the last part, a comparative analysis between 2010-2021 in the selected countries is carried out. The purpose of the paper is to compare the health care system in the Czech and Slovak Republics and to identify the main differences and similarities between the two countries and to assess the changes associated with the reform of the health care system in Slovakia based on the analysis.
