The analysis of transportation services offered by JHMD company

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce „Analýza přepravních služeb nabízených společností Jindřichohradecké místní dráhy, a. s.“ je zmapování služeb nabízených společnosti Jindřichohradecké místní dráhy, a. s. (dále jen „JHMD“), z hlediska přepravy cestujících a marketingu společnosti. Práce obsahuje teoreticko-metodologickou a aplikační část. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na seznámení se základními pojmy týkající se železniční dopravy, v krátkosti je věnována historii železnic. Zabývá se také regulací provozování dráhy a drážní dopravy. Vymezen je zde i marketing služeb a popis jednotlivých tratí v Jihočeském kraji. Aplikační část se zabývá společností JHMD, z hlediska teorie, současnosti a přehledu nabízených služeb. V této části je také proveden průzkum kvality služeb formou dotazníkového šetření, jejíž výsledky jsou přehledně interpretovány. V závěru práce jsou navržená možná řešení, která by mohla přispět ke zkvalitnění služeb.

Abstract:

The subject of thesis „The analysis of transport services offered by Jindřichohradecké místní dráhy, a.s.“ is mapping the services offered by the company Jindřichohradecké místní dráhy, a.s. (hereinafter „JHMD“) in terms of public transport services and marketing of the company. The thesis includes theoretical-methodological and application part. The theoretical part focuses on the introduction of basic concepts related to rail transport, partly is thesis devoted to the history of the railways. The thesis also discusses the regulation of the rail operation and rail transport. The marketing services and descriptions of individual lines in South Bohemian Region are also defined in this work. The application part deals with JHMD company in terms of theory, present condition of the company and summary of the offered services. In this section a survey of service quality (questionnaire survey) was carried out. The results of the survey are clearly interpreted in the main part of the application section. In conclusion the possible solutions that could help to improve the services are conducted.
