Extremism and violence as the current problem of youth

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na extremismus a násilí mládeže zejména v souvislosti s některými rizikovými faktory, jež vycházejí na povrch ze současné společenské situace a působí na eskalaci těchto sociálně patologických jevů. Hlavním cílem práce je poskytnutí informací pro navazující výzkum v diplomové práci a zmapování současné problematiky extremismu a násilí mládeže v rizikových lokalitách se zaměřením na prevenci těchto jevů. První dvě kapitoly představují teoretickou část práce, praktická část práce je zahrnuta do třetí kapitoly. Cílem teoretické části práce je vytvoření přehledu o této problematice se zaměřením na prevenci a v kontextu s aktuální společenskou situací, především v uvedených rizikových lokalitách. První kapitola popisuje náhledy na pojem extremismus a jeho formy i prvky. V další kapitole jsou popisovány preventivní opatření těchto jevů a současných aspektů, jež jsou označovány i oficiálními statistikami a zprávami z oblasti bezpečnosti jako aspekty působící na nárůst extremismu a násilí v dnešní společnosti. Město Ostrava patří z těchto hledisek k nejrizikovějším lokalitám v České republice. Praktická část je kvantitativně orientována, realizována pomocí předvýzkumu. Jejím cílem je zkoumání a porovnání postojů obyvatel tří rizikových obvodů města Ostravy v oblastech vycházejících z teoretické části.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of extremism and violence in youth, especially in connection with some risk factors, based on the surface of the current social situation and act to escalate these socio-pathological phenomena. The main objective is to provide information for continuing research in thesis and chart the current issue of extremism and violence of youth in high-risk areas, with a focus on preventing these phenomena. The first two chapters represent a theoretical part and practical part is included into the third chapter. The aim of theoretical part is to create an overview of the issue, focusing on prevention and in the context of the current social situation, especially in these high-risk locations. The first chapter describes the thumbnail on the concept of extremism and its forms and elements. The next chapter describes the preventive measures of these phenomena and contemporary aspects, which are referred to by official statistics and reports from the security as aspects of acting on the rise of extremism and violence in today's society. Because of these aspects, city of Ostrava is one of the most hazardous regions in the Czech Republic. The practical part is quantitatively oriented and realized through a pilot study. Its aim is to explore and compare the attitudes of residents of three districts of the city of Ostrava risk areas in sections based on the theoretical part.
