Bachalor thesis aims to analyse Central Asia region, which is considered as the area of five states Kazakhstan, Kyryzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, from the perspective of political geography and international relationships. Práca si kladie za cieľ analyzovať región Strednej Ázie ohraničený ako oblasť piatich republík Kazachstan, Kirgizsko, Tadžikistan, Turkménsko a Uzbekistan, z pohľadu politickej geografie a medzinárodných vzťahov. Účelom práce je zachytiť ich záujmy, vzájomné vzťahy i vzťahy s regionálnymi mocnosťami Ruskom a Čínou, ako aj s mimoregionálnymi aktérmi USA a Európskou úniou.
