Mass disaster - use of sorting scheme START

Abstract:

Téma této práce je Hromadná neštěstí ? využití třídícího schématu START. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části se snažím vysvětlit pojem hromadné neštěstí, katastrofy a jejich klasifikaci. Dále zmiňuji nezastupitelnou funkci Integrovaného záchranného systému a obecně shrnuji hlavní úkoly a činnosti Zdravotnické záchranné služby na místě mimořádné události včetně třídění raněných START. V poslední kapitole se podrobně věnuji třídícím a identifikačním kartám, které k řešení hromadného neštěstí neodmyslitelně patří. V praktické části zpracovávám výzkum zabývající se spokojeností zdravotníků s třídícími a identifikačními kartami pro hromadné postižení zdraví na území České republiky. Výše uvedené téma se mi jeví jako aktuální vzhledem ke katastrofickým událostem, které neustále postihují celý svět.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is Mass disasters ? the use of the sorting scheme START. The work is divided into theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part I try to explain the term mass disasters, catastrophes and their classification. Further I mention the important function of the Integrated Rescue Service and I summarize the main tasks and activities of the Emergency medical service in the place of an emergency incident in general, including the sorting of the affected people via START. In the final chapter I pursue to the sorting and identification cards in detail, which certainly belongs to the mass disasters solution. In the practical part I process the research dealing with the satisfaction of medics with sorting and identification cards for mass disaster in the whole area of the Czech Republic. The topic which is described above seems to me as a current topic, due to the catastrophic incidents which are constantly affecting the whole world.
