Experience with the implementation of formative assessment in practice at the 2nd grade of a selected elementary school in Czech language classes

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá zkušenostmi studentky učitelství se zaváděním formativního hodnocení do výuky českého jazyka a literatury na 2. stupni vybrané základní školy v rámci pedagogické praxe. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje nejprve na vymezení školního hodnocení obecně, jeho funkce a typy. Velká část teoretické části se věnuje právě formativnímu hodnocení, jeho vymezení i historii a popisuje klíčové strategie formativního hodnocení, ke kterým jsou připojeny i ukázky jednotlivých technik. V teoretické části je věnovaná část i Strategii vzdělávací politiky pro ČR do roku 2030+ a hodnocení v českém jazyce, a to i žáků s odlišným mateřským jazykem. Praktická část práce je provedena akčním výzkumem s využitím metodologie self-study. Skládá se z použití několika metod sběru dat, kterými jsou rozhovor, pozorování, dotazník a vedení pedagogického deníku. Výsledky práce budou sloužit učitelům nejen jako inspirace, jak je možné zavádět formativní hodnocení do výuky, ale i jako zdroj, ve kterém mohou nalézt užitečné informace o tomto druhu hodnocení.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the experiences of a student teacher with the introduction of formative assessment into the teaching of Czech language and literature at the 2nd grade of a selected elementary school as part of pedagogical practice. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the definition of school evaluation in general, its functions and types. A large part of the theoretical part is devoted to formative assessment, its definition and history, and describes the key strategies of formative assessment which are also accompanied by examples of individual techniques. In the theoretical part, there is also a section dedicated to the Education Policy Strategy for the Czech Republic until 2030+ and evaluations in the Czech language, there is also a section devoted to evaluation pupils with a different mother tongue. The practical part of this work is carried out by action research with using the self-study methodology. It consists of the use of several methods of data collection, which are interview, observation, questi-onnaire and keeping a pedagogical diary. The results of this work will serve teachers not only as an inspiration on how to introduce formative assessment into teaching, but also as a resource in which they can find useful information about this type of assessment.
