The use of subsidies for the development of peripheral areas in the Central Bohemia region

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je zjistit využití dotací v periferních oblastech Středočeského kraje a porovnat mezi sebou tyto periferní oblasti na základě geografické polohy v rámci Středočeského kraje. První část práce seznamuje s obecnými zásadami regionálního rozvoje a regionální politiky. Dále se práce zaměřuje na aktéry regionálního rozvoje a programy sloužící k rozvoji území. V druhé části práce jsou nejprve identifikovány periferní oblasti na základě ukazatelů perifernosti a dále v práci dochází ke komparaci těchto periferních oblastí prostřednictvím kvantitativních a kvalitativních charakteristik získaných z dotazníkového šetření s klíčovými aktéry.

Abstract:

This thesis aims to analyze the use of subsidies in the peripheral areas of the Central Bohemia Region and to compare these peripheral areas based on the geographical location within the Central Bohemia Region. The first part of the thesis introduces the general principles of regional development and regional policy. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the participants of regional development and subsidies programs used to develop the area. In the second part of the thesis, peripheral areas are identified based on indicators of peripherality, and then the work compares these peripheral areas using quantitative and qualitative characteristics obtained from a questionnaire survey.
