The quality of the destination and its influence on visitors' satisfaction

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá hodnocením kvality destinace cestovního ruchu Lipensko na základě spokojenosti návštěvníků s faktory kvality destinace a jejich vlivem na celkovou spokojenost návštěvníků. Stěžejní úlohu v celé práci představuje regresní analýza konkrétně Generalized Linear Model (GLM) popisující závislost vysvětlované proměnné (celková spokojenost s kvalitou destinace) na skupině vysvětlujících proměnných (spokojenost s kvalitou jednotlivých faktorů destinace). V teoretické části práce je zpracována problematika destinace cestovního ruchu, faktorů kvality destinace cestovního ruchu a spokojenosti návštěvníků. Analytická část práce nejdříve popisuje současný stav primární a sekundární nabídky cestovního ruchu v destinaci, a poté se soustředí na hodnocení spokojenosti návštěvníků s využitím primárních dat. Na základě výsledků GLM jsou následně identifikovány faktory kvality destinace, které určují celkovou spokojenost návštěvníků. Závěrečná část práce se zabývá vyhodnocením zjištěných poznatků a návrhem opatření pro systematické zvyšování kvality destinace Lipensko.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the quality of the Lipensko tourist area on the basis of visitors' satisfaction with the factors of destination quality and their influence on overall satisfaction of visitors. The main role in the whole work plays regression analysis, specifically the Generalized Linear Model (GLM) describing the dependence of the explained variable (overall satisfaction with the quality of the destination) on a group of explanatory variables (satisfaction with the individual factors of destination quality). The theoretical part covers the issue of tourism destination, factors of destination quality and visitors' satisfaction. The analytic part first describes the current state of the primary and secondary tourism offer in the destination and then focuses on evaluation of visitors' satisfaction using primary data. Based on the GLM results, the factors of destination quality are identified that determine the overall satisfaction of visitors. The final part discusses the most important findings and suggests measures for systematic improvement of the Lipensko tourist area.
