Study of the anticancer effect of tomatidine on model of mammary carcinoma

Abstract:

Táto práca je zameraná na tomatidin, aglykonové jadro - tomatinu a jeho potenciálne účinky ako MDR modulátor. V teoretickej časti som sa zamerala hlavne na zhrnutie základných informácií o tomatidín a mnohopočetnej liekovej rezistencie, fenomén spôsobujúci rezistenciu na široké spektrum chemoterapeutík, a ABC transportéroch, ktoré sa priamo podieľajú na vzniku MDR. V experimentálnej časti sme sa zamerali na testovanie protinádorových účinkov tomatidinu, či už samostatného alebo v kombinácií s cytostatikom ako MDR modulátor in vivo aj in vitro testoch.

Abstract:

This study is focused on the tomatidine, the aglycone of - tomatine and its potential effect as MDR modulator. In the theoretical part are subscribed main information about tomatidine and multidrug resistance, a phenomenon of resistance to a wide spectrum of chemotherapeutics agents, and ABC transporters, which are directly involved in the genesis of MDR origin. The research part is focused on in vivo and in vitro test of antitumor effect of tomatidine alone or in the combination with cytostatic, because of potential effect as MDR modulator.
