Consulting process in social work with client what receive benefits of material poverty

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá odlišnostmi a shodami postojů, které zaujímají sociální pracovníci, klienti a vedoucí pracovníci k pozitivům a negativům poradenského procesu na referátu dávek hmotné nouze. Teoretická část je zaměřena na systém pomoci v hmotné nouzi, pracovníky a klienty této agendy, poradenský proces obecně a poradenský proces na referátu dávek hmotné nouze se specifikací jeho pozitiv a negativ. Výzkum, založený na kvalitativní strategii, byl realizován technikou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s 12 respondenty – sociálními a vedoucími pracovníky agendy dávek hmotné nouze a jejich klienty. Data získaná z rozhovorů jsou interpretována na základě otevřeného a axiálního kódování. Výsledkem práce je zjištění, že největší shoda ve vnímání opozit, u jednotlivých kategorií respondentů, panuje v jejich postoji k rozdělení klientů jednotlivým pracovníkům agendy a dále v postoji ke kvalifikaci pracovníků pro výkon funkce sociálního pracovníka. Naopak největší odlišností je jejich postoj k prostorovému uspořádání zejména kanceláří, počtu pracovníků na referátu a v kvalitě spolupráce se sociálním odborem městského úřadu. V závěru práce je zodpovězena hlavní výzkumná otázka a doporučení pro praktické využití.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals diversities and agreements of attitudes, which social workers, clients and managers adopt to the positive and negative side of consulting process on the unit of material poverty benefits. The theoretic part is focused on system of assistance in material poverty, on workers and clients, consulting process in general and consulting process on the department of material poverty benefits with specification its positives and negatives. The research, based on a qualitative strategy, was accomplished by method of semi–structured interviews with 12 respondents – social workers and managers of agenda of benefits of material poverty and their clients. Data gained from the interviews are interpreted on the basis of open and axial coding. The result of the thesis is finding that the greatest consensus is in perception of opposites, in individual categories, in their attitude to division of clients to discrete workers of the agenda and further in their attitude to qualifications of workers for performance of social worker´s function. Conversely, the greatest diference is in their attitude to space arrangement mainly of offices, number of workers on the department and i quality of cooperation with public welfare department of the municipal office. The main research question is answered and recommendations for practical use are given at the end of the thesis.
