Po vzniku první Československé republiky se už tak napjaté vztahy mezi Čechy a Němci ještě více vyostřily. Situace na Trutnovsku byla obzvláště komplikovaná, protože zde žila poměrně velká populace německých obyvatel Československa. Abstract:
After the establishment of the first Czechoslovak Republic, the already tense relations between the Czechs and the Germans intensified even more. The situation in the Trutnov region was particularly complicated because a relatively large population of the Germans of Czechoslovakia lived there.
