Stylistic devices: metaphors and their translation in Gerhart Hauptmann's work
Abstract:
The main topic of this thesis are stylistic devices, primarily metaphors and their translation in the work "Die versunkene Glocke" by a German writer Gerhart Hauptmann. In the practical part of this thesis I deal with a comparison of the German original with the Czech translation by František Serafínský Procházka.
Abstract:
Hlavním tématem práce jsou stylistické prostředky, především metafory a jejich překlad v díle "Die versunkene Glocke" od německého spisovatele Gerharta Hauptmanna. V praktické části práce se zabývám srovnáním německého originálu s českým překladem od Františka Serafínského Procházky.
