Purchase of electricity in small municipalities

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá možnostmi úspor při dodávkách elektrické energie do malých obcí. Posuzovány jsou obce ve Středočeském kraji s 200-500 obyvateli. Cílem práce je navrhnout možnosti úspor při nakupování dodávek elektrické energie v obcích. Vysvětleny jsou nejběžnější možnosti úspory a zvolený problém je řešen pomocí náhledů do výdajů u obcí splňujících kritéria. Na reálných příkladech jsou porovnávány obce, které v oblasti energetiky podnikají úsporné kroky a obce, které tyto výdaje neoptimalizují. Výzkumem je zjištěno, že většina obcí nevyužívá žádnou možnost levnějších dodávek elektrické energie, přestože znají postup, jak levnějších dodávek dosáhnout. Děje se tak z důvodu velké vytíženosti starostů územních jednotek. Výsledky této práce umožňují obcím, které budou ochotné se tématu věnovat, aplikovat doporučené metody a tím uvolnit rozpočet pro ostatní projekty

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis shows possible ways of energy savings in relation to small municipalities. Target municipalities are in Central Bohemian Region and must have between 200-500 residents. The point of the thesis is to create a recommendation for energy cost reductions. Explained are the most common options when purchasing electricity supplies. Selected issue is solved by looking at expenses of municipalities that meet the set criteria. The municipalities are compared based on real examples of villages that take steps to reduce energy costs and ones that do not. In my research I found that most municipalities do not use any savings opportunities when buying electricity. This is due to the high workload of mayors of municipalities. The results allow municipalities, that are willing to address the topic, to apply the recommended methods and thus free up the budget for other projects.
