The use of autogenic vaccines in animals for reduction of the environmental burden by antibiotics

Abstract:

Jedním ze závažných a zatím opomíjených zdrojů znečištění životního prostředí jsou antibiotika či jejich rezidua, která mohou mít vliv nejen na kvalitativní či kvantitativní složení biosféry, ale i na zdraví lidí a zvířat. Teoretická část bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou vstupu a možností eliminace antibiotik z jednotlivých složek životního prostředí a zároveň jednou z alternativních možností, jak tuto zátěž snížit, použití autogenních vakcín u hospodářských zvířat. Praktická část je zaměřena na sběr a vyhodnocení dat od veterinárních lékařů a chovatelů zvířat o aplikaci autogenních vakcín a spotřebě antibiotik v daných chovech. V závěru práce následuje diskuze a navrhovaná možná řešení využití autogenních vakcín a spotřeby antibiotik zejména ve veterinární sféře.

Abstract:

One of the serious and yet neglected sources of environmental pollution are antibiotics or their residues, which may have an impact not only on qualitative or quantitative composition of the biosphere, but also on the health of people and animals. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the issue of entry and the possibility of elimination of antibiotics from the individual components of the environment and at the same time one of the alternative options to reduce this burden, the use of autogenous vaccines for livestock. The practical part is focused on the collection and evaluation of data from veterinarians and animal breeders on the application of autogenous vaccines and antibiotics consumption in those establishments. At the conclusion of the work followed by the discussion and proposed possible solutions to the use of autogenous vaccines and the consumption of antibiotics particularly in the veterinary sphere.
