Kurzové rozdíly, jejich účtování a vliv na výsledek hospodaření podniku

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá obchodními a finančními operacemi ve firmě, při kterých vznikají kurzové rozdíly, jejich účtováním a hodnocením vlivu změn měnových kurzů na hospodaření podniku. V práci je využita metoda analýzy, kdy jsou rozkládány kurzové rozdíly zaúčtované v posledních třech letech na skupiny účetních případů, které je generovaly. Zároveň vztahovou analýzou je zkoumána vzájemná závislost mezi výší kurzu a výší kurzových rozdílů u jednotlivých typů případů, které mají vliv na hospodářský výsledek firmy. Jsou hledány příčiny a důsledky dílčích jevů ovlivňující vznik kurzových rozdílů. Problematika je řešena na konkrétním případu české exportní firmy, která se s těmito operacemi běžně setkává. Praktická část se také zabývá úspěšností zajišťování proti kurzovému riziku, porovnává dvě možnosti použití kurzů denním nebo měsíčním kurzem, a vyhodnocuje, jak se u sledované firmy promítly intervence ČNB z listopadu 2013 na hospodaření podniku. V práci jsou vyvozeny závěry, že u exportní firmy variabilita a kolísavost devizových kurzů významně ovlivňuje pozitivně i negativně výši hospodářského výsledku firmy a výše kurzových rozdílů v důsledku nestability měny je pro firmy obtížně předvídatelná.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis provides information about trade transactions and financial transactions that generate foreign exchange differences, the accounting of the foreign exchange differences and the evaluation of the impact of exchange rate changes on company management. The used method of analysis decomposed exchange differences recognised in the last three years into the group accounting transactions that generated the differences. With the relational analysis, the interdependence between the level of the exchange rate and the amount of exchange differences of individual types of cases that have an impact on the profit of the company is examined. The causes and consequences of partial phenomena influencing the emergence of exchange rate differences are explored. The issue addressed is a case of a Czech export company where those operations are commonly encountered. The practical section of this thesis deals with the success of hedging against exchange rate risk, compares two options of fixing exchange rates on the daily or the monthly rate, and evaluates how the monitored company reflected Czech National Bank intervention in November 2013 on the management of the company. It was concluded that the export company‘s variability and volatility of exchange rates significantly effect, positively and negatively, the amount of profit of the company, and that the exchange differences due to currency instability is difficult for companies to predict.
