Analysis of leadership style in a company

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Analýza stylu vedení v podniku" je problematika stylů vedení. Cílem práce je analýza stylů vedení manažerů vybrané společnosti a navržení doporučení k jejich zefektivnění. Teoretická část práce se věnuje shrnutí teoretických východisek, definuje základní pojmy z oblasti vedení a managementu a shrnuje poznatky o stylech vedení a přístupech k jejich zkoumání. Praktická část zkoumá styly vedení manažerů vybrané společnosti. V závěru jsou formulována doporučení a návrhy, na základě provedené analýzy, které by měla vést ke zefektivnění vůdcovského chování analyzovaných manažerů.

Abstract:

The subject of the submitted thesis: “Analysis of leadership style in a company” is the issue of leadership styles. The aim of this thesis is the analysis of the leadership styles of managers from selected company and proposal of recommendations to improve them. The theoretical part of the thesis sums up the theory, defines basic concepts of leadership and management and summarizes findings about leadership styles and approaches to their examination. The practical part analyses the leadership styles of the managers from selected company. In the last part recommendations and proposals, based on the previous analysis, are made, which should lead to improvement of the leadership of examined managers.
