Social Relations in Classrooms of Gifted Learners from the Perspective of a Teaching Assistant

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se soustředí na zjištění, jaké jsou sociální vztahy ve třídě nadaných žáků z pohledu asistenta pedagoga. Úvod práce je soustředěn na seznámení veřejnosti s tématem, které je pro většinu společnosti nemožné poznat v přímé interakci se skutečnou realitou, jak daná skupina žáků spolu žije. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na odbornou literaturu vztahující se k podstatě daného tématu, mezi tyto kapitoly patří sociální vztahy, nadaný žák, klima třídy, asistent pedagoga. Praktická část obsahuje sociometrický dotazník, který byl zvolen jako hlavní nástroj pro zodpovězení výzkumných otázek. Tento hlavní zdroj empirických dat doplňuje pozorování a rozhovor. Tak byla zajištěna triangulace zdrojů dat.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is aimed at study of social relationships in a class of gifted and talented pupils from a pedagogical assistant's point of view. The beginning of the thesis deals with explanation of the topic to the public. For most of people in general it is impossible to experience and understand it through direct interaction with reality in which a specific group of pupils live. The theoretical part is focused on the literature connected with the main topic. Among these chapters we can find social interactions, a gifted pupil, school class atmosphere, a pedagogical assistant. The practical part of the thesis involves a sociometric questionnaire which was chosen as a main instrument for gaining answers to research questions. This main source of empirical data is completed by observation and interviews. This way the triangulation of data sources was provided.
