Food and Cusine of the Haná Region: then and now

Abstract:

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is introducing regional gastronomy, specifically gastronomy of Haná region, located in the Czech Republic. First part introduces Haná region itself, Haná cuisine and its traditions, specifics and food. The traditional sweets of Haná are also demonstrated by showing the process of baking them by the author of this thesis. Second part is searching for trends in Haná cuisine and its products and the third part is dealing with organizations, such as CzechTourism or Association of hotels and restaurants of the Czech Republic. In this section we are trying to find out if and what they do for supporting regional and specifically Haná gastronomy.
