Abstract:

Cílem této práce je vytvořit příručku montessori pedagogiky pro výuku jazyků. Vlastní text je doplněn obrázky pomůcek a popisem užití materiálu. Teoretická část práce se zabývá různými přístupy k výuce cizích jazyků, jako je například Daltonský způsob výuky, přímá metoda výuky cizích jazyků- Callanova metoda, program Applied Scholastics založený na díle L. Ron Hubbard, montessori pedagogika a její principy. Tyto principy jsou Senzitivní období a objevování nových informací samotným dítětem, Soustředění, Svobodná volba, Připravené prostředí, Věkově smíšené skupiny, Vztah dospělý-dítě, Práce s chybou, Montessori pomůcky. Součástí je i stručný popis vývoje jazyka, neboť je důležitou součástí pro porozumění fungování a užití pomůcek. Praktická část popisuje montessori pomůcky a jejich užití v praxi. Je rozdělena do několika částí poskytujících informace o slovní zásobě, psaní, čtení, vyprávění příběhů, gramatice a jazykových hrách.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to make the Montessori handbook of language to help teachers, parents, and people interested in alternative approaches of education to be aware of different ways how to teach children and respect their individualities by using various materials and methods. All the parts of the practical part are described generally and afterwards the materials with pictures are introduced. The use and function of materials are commented. The theoretical part is about some different approaches to teaching and learning foreign languages. It includes The Dalton approach, direct method for foreign languages like The Callan method, the programme Applied Scholastics based on the work of L. Ron Hubbard, and finally I will focus on the Montessori approach and its principles as it is the main aim of my thesis. These principles are Sensitive period and discovering new pieces of knowledge by child itself, The polarization of concentration, Free choice of activity, Prepared surroundings, Age mixed classes, Making new relationship between an adult and a child, Working with a mistake, Montessori material. It presents a short description of language development because it is important for understanding the using of material. The practical part presents lesson plans according to the different teaching approaches. It includes the Dalton lesson plan, The Callan lesson plan, lesson plans illustrating the Applied Scholastic, traditional learning approach and Montessori material with the description how to use it. The Montessori part is larger than other parts and it contains facts about lexicon, writing, reading, storytelling, grammar, and language games.
