Description and Optimization of External and Internal Processes in the Selected Company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem "Popis a optimalizace externích a interních procesů ve vybrané společnosti" se zabývá analýzou a následnou optimalizací procesů a toků ve společnosti ABB s. r. o., Elektro-Praga v Jablonci nad Nisou. Cílem této práce je vytvořit návrh optimalizace procesů ve společnosti, který řeší současné nastavení toků s ohledem na požadavky managementu. První část se zaměřuje na teoretické vymezení logistiky, skladování, řízení toku materiálu a zásob, logistické technologie a informační systémy. V druhé části je charakterizována vybraná společnost, její skladové hospodářství a používaný systém plánování. Následně je na základě analýzy externích a interních procesů v rámci společnosti navržena jejich optimalizace. Na závěr je provedeno ekonomické vyhodnocení tohoto návrhu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis with title "Description and optimization of external and internal processes in the selected company" deals with analysis and subsequent optimization processes and flows in the company ABB s. r. o., Elektro-Praga in Jablonec nad Nisou. The goal of this thesis is to create a draft optimization of processes in the company, which solves the current setting of flows with respect to the management requirements. The first part focuses on the theoretical definition of logistics, warehousing, materials and supplies management, logistics technology and information systems. In the second part there is described the selected company, its stock management and planning system used. Afterwards, on the basis of the analysis of external and internal processes within the company their optimization is proposed. At the end the economic evaluation of this proposal is realized.
