This bachelor thesis focuses on the role of emotions and emotional intelligence in Raymond Carver’s collection of short stories - Short Cuts. It examines Carver’s minimalistic writing style and the ability to indicate issues under the surface of the written word. The thesis consists of two parts – theoretical and analytical.
