Developing key competencies of human resources in small and medium-sized enterprises

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je identifikace procesu rozvíjení klíčových dovedností zaměstnanců v malých a středních podnicích. Na základě popsání a zhodnocení stávajících procesů definovat návrhy ke zlepšení aktuálního stavu. Tato práce se skládá ze dvou částí, jedná se o část teoreticko-metodologickou a část aplikační. V teoretické části jsou promítnuty základní pojmy a shrnuty základní poznatky, které se týkají daného tématu a byly čerpány z odborné literatury. Jsou zde uvedeny čtyři výzkumné problémy týkající se klíčových kompetencí zaměstnanců a vzdělávacího systému organizace. Tato část také obsahuje metody sběru dat a způsob jejich zpracování, bylo použito dotazníkové šetření, pozorování a strukturovaný rozhovor s paní ředitelkou. Aplikační část se týká konkrétní, středně velké příspěvkové organizace, nesoucí název Domov důchodců Horní Planá. Jsou zde uvedeny základní informace o organizaci a především se zde promítá problematika klíčových kompetencí. V této části také nalezneme odpovědi na stanovené výzkumné problémy a diskuzi výsledků. V závěru práce jsou navrhnuta opatření, které by mohla organizace učinit pro zlepšení současného stavu.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to identify the process to develop the key skills of employees in small and medium-sized enterprises. On the basis of the description and evaluation of existing processes to define proposals to improve the current status. This work consists of two parts, the part theoretical-methodological and the part applicational. In the theoretical part the basic concepts are reflected and the basic facts were summarized concerning the topic extracted from professional literature. Here are four research issues related to key competences of employees and the educational system of the organization. This section also contains the methods of data collection and their processing method, questionnaire survey, observation, and structured interview with Ms Director were used. The application part concerns a specific, medium-sized contributory organization called The Nursing Home Horní Planá. There are basic information about the organization listed here and, above all, the key competences are reflected. In this section the answers to the research problems can be found together with the discussion of results. At the end of the work measures are suggested, that could be taken to improve the Organization's current state.
