The Process of employee adaptation in a chosen organisation

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou adaptace zaměstnanců ve vybrané organizaci AB. Cílem je přiblížit, jak stávající adaptační proces funguje, a zjistit, zda odpovídá potřebám zaměstnanců. Práce má upozornit na absenci hodnocení adaptačního procesu a tudíž na nedostatečné povědomí o stávajícím procesu adaptace. V teoretické části je definován pojem adaptace a její cíle, oblasti, fáze a účastníci. Dále popisuje adaptační opatření, čeho se v rámci adaptace vyhnout a jak ji hodnotit. Jsou zde také vymezeny potřeby obecně i v rámci adaptace. Metodologická část uvádí využitou výzkumnou strategii, techniku sběru dat, výzkumný vzorek a jeho výběr, postup získávání dat, operacionalizaci výzkumných otázek a etické aspekty a možné omezení výzkumu. Empirická část se zabývá analýzou a interpretací získaných dat. Závěrečná diskuze pak shrnuje důležitá zjištění, odpovídá na hlavní výzkumnou otázku a navrhuje doporučení pro organizaci.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the adaptation of employees in AB organization. The aim is to show how existing process of adaptation works and find out if it matches the needs of employees. The thesis should point out the lack of evaluation of the adaptation process and thus to a lack of awareness about the existing process. In the theoretical part there is a definiton of adaptation and its goals, fields, stages and participants. It also describes adaptation measures, what to avoid in the context of adaptation and how to assess it. There are also defined needs in general and in the context of adaptation. Methodological part presents strategy to use research, data collection technique, the research sample, operationalization of research questions and ethical aspects and possible restrictions on research. The empirical part deals with the analysis and interpretation of data obtained. Final discussion summarizes the key findings, answers the main research question and suggests recommendations for the organization.
