The Introduction of the Euro in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou zavedení eura v České republice. V práci, která je rozdělena do pěti kapitol, se zmíním o základních teoretických východiskách, euru, podmínkách zavedení eura, předpokládaných dopadech zavedení eura v České republice a dopadech zavedení eura ve Slovenské republice. Cílem práce je zhodnocení předpokládaných dopadů zavedení eura v České republice. Dále v práci popisuji historii evropské integrace a podmínky zavedení eura a v samotném závěru nabízím osobní pohled na problematiku přijetí eura, kdy volím kladný postoj přijetí eura.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the introduction of the Euro currency in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into five chapters in which I will mention the basic theoretical premises, the terms of implementing the euro currency, introduction of the euro, the anticipated impact of the introduction of the euro in the Czech Republic and the impact of the introduction of the euro in the Slovak Republic. The aim is to evaluate the anticipated impact of the introduction of the euro in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the thesis describes the history of European integration and the introduction of the euro and the conditions of the implementation. As a closure I offer a personal perspective on the issue of euro adoption where I choose the positive attitude twards theeuro adoption.
