Abstract:

Diplomová práce nastiňuje demografický vývoj obyvatelstva na území vesnic na jihovýchod od tehdejší Prahy - Kunratice, Paběnice, Průhonice, Hole a Rozkoš v období let 1747-1865 (s jistým časovým přesahem). Práce využívá metodu excerpce matričních zápisů, s kterými pak bylo dále pracováno při analýze charakteru demografického vývoje (a chování) obyvatelstva v dané lokalitě. Pozornost je zaměřena například na křestní jména, která rodiče pro své potomky ve sledované lokalitě a dalším okolí Prahy upřednostňovali v průběhu doby. Dílčí pozornost je věnována problematice sňatečnosti, mimo jiné rodinném stavu a věku při vstupu do manželství, geografickému i sociálnímu původu partnerů. Dalším ukazatelem demografického vývoje populací je jejich vitální index. V dobách s nízkým vitálním indexem lidé na problémy doby reagují a mění své životní strategie, což se ve sledované oblasti projevilo například zvýšenou mobilitou rodin. Diplomová práce kromě celkových statistických údajů prezentuje četné konkrétní příklady, které slouží k ilustraci vývojových trendů. K nastínění konkrétní situace byla na základě získaných dat také aplikována metoda rekonstrukce několika rodin. Pozornost je v práci věnována i některým okrajovým tématům, jako například dětem narozeným mimo manželství, nalezencům nebo dvojčatům z hlediska jejich šance na přežití. Diplomová práce přispívá k poznání demografického vývoje sledovaného území za využití potenciálu církevních matrik. Výsledná zjištění se porovnávala s celkovým historicko-demografickým vývojem v českých zemích a s výsledky dalších dostupných studií, které byly z hlediska místa a období relevantní.

Abstract:

The thesis work outlines the demographic evolution of the population in the territory of villages south-eastwards from the then Prague - Kunratice, Paběnice, Průhonice, Hole and Rozkoš in the years of 1747 - 1865 (with some time overlap). The paper uses the method of excerptions from register office records that were used in further work on analyzing the nature of the demographic evolution (and behavior) of the population in the given location. Attention is paid e.g. to first names that parents had been preferring for their offspring in the location observed as well as in other areas outside Prague in the course of  time. Attention is paid in part to the matters of marriages, among others to marital status and age when entering the marriage and to the geographic and social origin of the partners. One of the indicators of the demographic evolution of population is their vital index. In times of low vital index, people react to problems of the era and they change their life strategies which resulted e.g. in the increase of family mobility in the region observed. Besides the overall statistic data, the thesis work presents numerous particular examples that serve as illustrations of the evolution trends. To outline the particular situation, the method of family reconstruction was applied as well based on the data acquired. Attention is also paid to several marginal topic, e.g. children born outside marriages, foundlings or twins from the point of view of their chance of survival. The thesis work contributes to the knowledge of the demographic evolution of  the region observed by using church register offices. The resulting findings were compared to the overall historic-demographic evolution in the Czech territories and to results of other available studies that were relevant from the point of view of place and era.
