Specifics of change management in the context of digital transformation of an organisation

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou změnového řízení v kontextu digitální transformace organizace. Cílem práce je identifikace, analýza a rozšíření metodik změnového řízení. Předmětem analýzy jsou digitální transformace organizací. V teoretické části je definován pojem digitální transformace a jsou zde popsány základní principy, které tuto transformaci ovlivňují. Následně se práce zabývá změnovým řízením v organizacích, různými úrovněmi implementace a hlavními metodikami používanými pro řízení změn. V praktické části jsou ukázky případových studií na změnové řízení v rámci digitální transformace podniku s cílem identifikovat hlavní faktory, které ovlivňují jejich výsledky. Tyto zjištěné faktory jsou následně využity pro zhodnocení stávajících metodik změnového řízení a identifikaci klíčových oblastí, které je možné rozšířit v souvislosti s digitální transformací. Rovněž jsou navržená rozšíření ověřena prostřednictvím zpětné vazby od zkušených odborníků v oblasti změnového řízení v rámci digitální transformace organizace. Na základě získaných názorů a následné diskuse jsou formulována konkrétní doporučení pro efektivní řízení změn v rámci digitální transformace organizací rozšířené metodiky.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of change management in the context of digital transformation of an organization. The aim of the thesis is to identify, analyze and extend change management methodologies. The subject of the analysis is digital transformation of organizations. In the theoretical part, the concept of digital transformation is defined and the basic principles that influence this transformation are described. Subsequently, the thesis deals with change management in organizations, the different levels of implementation and the main methodologies used for change management. In the practical part, case studies on change management in the context of digital transformation of the enterprise are presented to identify the main factors that influence their results. These identified factors are then used to evaluate existing change management methodologies and identify key areas that can be enhanced in the context of digital transformation. Also, the proposed extensions are validated through feedback from experienced change management practitioners in the context of an organization’s digital transformation. Based on the views obtained and the subsequent discussion, specific recommendations for effective change management in the context of digital transformation of organizations are formulated for the extended methodology.
