Abstract:
Diploma thesis Utopia in Modern Age: Technology - Promise or Menace? deals with the role of technology in utopian literature, which by means of its fictitious images serve as a vision in formation of society. At the same time it tries to approach cyberpunk phenomenon as a combination of modern utopian thinking and transhumanistic philosophy.
